Sveza Successfully Completes ISO 9001 Surveillance Audit
Sveza Group first completed the full certification audit of its quality management system (QMS) in 2024, receiving a three-year ISO 9001 certificate. To maintain this certification, the company must undergo annual surveillance audits demonstrating ongoing compliance with QMS requirements.
In November 2025, as part of Sveza’s umbrella certification model, the surveillance audit was conducted at three plywood mills: Novator, Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha, and St. Petersburg. Since the company applies standardized business processes across all facilities, a successful audit at these three locations confirmed ISO 9001 compliance for the entire organization.
During the audit, independent experts reviewed a broad scope of processes and operational functions, including veneer and plywood production processes, warehousing and shipment procedures, material handling, quality and infrastructure management, and HR-related functions. All core processes influencing product quality were evaluated.
“Sveza completed the 2025 surveillance audit with zero non-conformities. This is a significant achievement, as we verified compliance with international quality standards across three plywood mills at once. It demonstrated the strength and consistency of our approach and our ability to monitor quality at every stage. ISO 9001 certification strengthens customer confidence and reinforces Sveza’s position as a reliable partner,” said Larisa Mikhel, Head of Quality Department at Sveza Novator Plywood Mill.
The auditors confirmed that Sveza Group’s quality management system is effective and fully aligned with ISO 9001 requirements. The company continues to refine and develop its system, with employees actively engaged in maintaining high product quality and driving ongoing improvement.
